Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Thirtyfold Missions (“Thirtyfold,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and applications (the “Service”). Thirtyfold connects Christian missionaries with the community of advocates, allies, and supporters who pray for and fund their work.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — your name, email address, password (stored only in hashed form), account type (Pally, Ally, Advocate, Missionary, or Church), profile photo, biography, and referral code.
• Missionary content — updates, photos, videos, prayer requests, project descriptions, and funding goals that missionaries post to their fold.
• Network and contacts — if you are an Advocate, contacts you choose to import or add in order to invite them.
• Donation records — when you give, our payment partner Zeffy processes your payment. Thirtyfold does not collect or store your card or bank details. We receive and store a record of the donation, including donor name and email, amount, the campaign it supported, and any referral attribution.
• Usage and activity data — notifications, milestones, fold memberships, prayer responses, and similar activity generated as you use the Service.
• Device and notification data — if you enable push notifications, the subscription token your browser or device provides so we can deliver them.

How We Use Your Information

• To operate the Service and your account, and to display missionary updates to their fold.
• To send you updates and notifications you have signed up for, by in-app notification, email, and push notification.
• To attribute donations to the advocate who referred them, and to track fund-raising progress and milestones.
• To respond to your requests and provide support.
• To protect the security and integrity of the Service and comply with law.

Service Providers We Share Data With

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the Service. We share only the information each needs to perform its function, and each is bound to protect it.

• Supabase — database hosting and authentication.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Zeffy — donation processing. Payments are handled by Zeffy under Zeffy’s Privacy Policy. Zeffy also issues donation receipts.
• Resend — delivery of transactional and update emails.
• Anthropic — the “Barnabas” coaching feature and message-drafting tools send the relevant text to Anthropic’s AI to generate a response. We do not use your data to train third-party models.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Thirtyfold and its users.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We do not use advertising cookies.

Email Communications

Fold updates and notifications are sent to the email on your account. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to stop non-essential email at any time. We may still send essential account and security messages.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal and record-keeping obligations (including donation records). You may request deletion of your account as described below.

Your Choices and Rights

You may access and update most of your information from within your account. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us at the address below. We will respond as required by applicable law.

Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit, row-level access controls in our database, and restricted administrative access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you of a material breach where required.

Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
